The Challenge

The power plant was operating with high-moisture lignite coal (45% moisture content), resulting in reduced combustion efficiency, higher fuel consumption, and increased emissions. The plant needed a solution that could work with existing infrastructure.

Our Solution

We designed and implemented our proprietary low-temperature coal drying system utilizing waste heat from the flue gas. The system reduces coal moisture content before combustion without requiring additional energy input, improving overall plant efficiency.

Results Achieved

The project delivered measurable improvements across all key performance indicators. Efficiency gains exceeded initial projections, and the system paid for itself in less than two years through fuel savings alone.
